Application for Membership of TASS
You may apply to become a member of this Association if you receive, or will be eligible to receive a superannuation pension from the contributory defined benefit scheme administered by the RBF in Tasmania, or you are the partner of a person eligible for membership.
There are 2 membership options -
- Annual Subscription (ie, an annual payment)
- Member for Life subscription (a one off payment)
Annual Subscriptions (Due on 1 January)
- Superannuant, (Single or couple) - $15
- Widow/Widower of a Superannuant - $10
Membership for Life
- Superannuant (Single or couple) - $120
- Widow/Widower of a Superannuant - $80
On the passing of a Superannuant, the Membership for Life will be passed onto the surviving partner.

- There are downloadable forms that can be filled out and sent by mail to the TASS Reply Paid address (shown on the form). Payments can be by cheque, money order or direct deposit. Forms are located here.
- Alternatively, there are online forms that can be filled out and sent by clicking the send button on the form. Only Direct Deposit payments can be used with the Online forms. Online Forms are located here.
Members will receive:
- A copy (normally each quarter) of our magazine Super-News, this contains a wide range of items of interest to superannuants and is without commercial advertising.
- Advice or referral to the appropriate authority from TASS, if required, when dealing with matters related to your superannuation or pension payments and entitlements.
